Hole board apparatus

Head dipping on a hole-board is frequently used as an indicator of exploratory tendencies in rodent studies. Exploratory behaviour in this apparatus is a highly sensitive measure commonly used to explore and determine pharmacological and genetic influences.

Using a supplied insert, the holes can also be baited, allowing the appartus to also be utilized in spatial learning and memory experiments.
