The Open Field apparatus is broadly used to assess exploratory behaviour and is validated for use in the measurement of anxiety related behaviours.

	Available for rat or mouse (mouse version pictured left). Available with transparent or opaque walls. Walls fit solidly in slotted base, but lift off for easy cleaning. Grey, non reflective base plate.

Rat version has an optional divider (pictured right) to create four 50x50cm arenas.
A fully automated version of this test, for mouse, is also available.
